Vision Statement: “Teaching dancers to be the best that they can be, through professional instruction, performing opportunities, creative choreography and enhanced civic responsibility.”
MBT fulfills this vision by:
Offering year round, individualized dance education, in a caring, nurturing environment;
Providing performing opportunities, including the annual The Nutcracker, Spring Season and outreach performances;
Fostering creativity, flexibility, and self-confidence through student choreography and performances; and
Enhancing civic responsibility, through outreach activities to area nursing homes as well as public & private elementary and middle schools, childcare centers, cultural arts events, and other venues. MBT also participates in arts events that are attended by very diverse audiences from across the metropolitan Washington, D.C., community.
