Victoria BornEditCurrently based in Chicago, IL. Victoria is a recent import from NYC. She began her professional career at age 17 dancing for Wes Chapman’s Alabama Ballet. In 1998 she joined ABT at the request of Kevin McKenzie. Ms. Born was a semi-finalist at the 1998 International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi and has attended numerous summer programs on scholarship. She made her cinematic debut in the Columbia pictures film, Center Stage as ‘Emily’, and later danced on Broadway in the Phantom of the Opera. In addition to classical repertory, Ms. Born has had the pleasure of performing principal roles for such notable choreographers as Johan Renvall, Septime Webre, Alan Hineline, and currently Altin Naska. Most recently, Ms. Born was featured in the 2005 ‘Stars of Chicago’ series (Dance Chicago) and performed as a guest artist for the Civic Ballet of Chicago.
