She was awarded an international talent grant to study at the Royal Ballet School at the age of fourteen. She has also received training at the Houston Ballet Academy. She has danced professionally with the San Diego Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, Colorado Ballet, and the Carolina Ballet.
