Justin Gibbs

Since joining BalletMet in 2001, Justin Gibbs has had many favorite roles, including the title character in Hamlet; the Nutcracker Prince; and Renfield, Arthur and Jonathan in Dracula. Born in Grand Rapids, he previously danced with Grand Rapids Ballet, Tulsa Ballet Theatre, and Dayton Ballet. He studied at the School of the Grand Rapids Ballet and has choreographed for Grand Rapids Ballet, Young People’s Ballet Theatre, New Albany Ballet, and Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s Holiday Pops. He is married to dancer Christine Mangia.
