Jessica Brown

A native of Overland Park, Kan., Jessica Brown joins BalletMet after studying with the company as a trainee last season. She has performed in pieces set by Dennis and Kathy Landsman of Kansas Regional Ballet Company, Paula Weber of UMKC, Francie Huber, John Magnus, and Sharon Randolph of Interlochen School of the Performing Arts. Ms. Brown has performed in the RDA Honors Choreography Project at the 2002 International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Miss., and she has choreographed and presented two pieces at Mid-States Regional Dance Festivals as an emerging choreographer. She has danced with many summer programs on full scholarships, including Boston and Milwaukee. Her favorite roles with KRB include Swanhilda in Coppelia, Alice in Through the Looking Glass and Ruby in Sleeping Beauty.
