Born Glasgow, Scotland, November 16, 1919; emigrated to Victoria, B.C., Canada; studied ballet with Dorothy Wilson and Wynne Shaw at the Russian Ballet School of Dancing in Victoria; with June Roper in Vancouver.
Member of Ballet Russe de Monte
Carlo, 1939-1941; Ballet Theatre, 1941-1943. Famous for his performance in Fokine’s Le Spectre de la Rose, Bluebird pas de deux, and as Alain in La Fille mal gardee.
