In 1992, he graduated from the Baltimore School for the Arts and was awarded a <span class="caps">NFAA</span> Arts Award. Mr. Cieslak continued his training with summer programs at Eglevsky Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and the Donetsk Ballet. <br /> In 1993, he was invited to join Pennsylvania Ballet as an apprentice, and in 1994 he became a full member of the Corps de Ballet. He was promoted to Soloist in August 1999. Also in the summer of 1999, Mr. Cieslak performed with other members of Pennsylvania Ballet at the Sintra Festival in Portugal. <br /> Mr. Cieslak’s leading roles include Tea, Candy Cane and Cavalier in The Nutcracker, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, The Hoofer in Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, and Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
