Dimitri Suslov

Born in Moscow, Russia, Dmitri Suslov graduated from Bolshoi Ballet Academy and performed with Bolshoi Ballet, Renaissance Ballet, Philadelphia Dance Conservatory and Sacramento Ballet before joining BalletMet in 1998. In addition to having toured internationally with Bolshoi Ballet and “The Stars of Russian Ballet,” Mr. Suslov was a guest artist at the First National Nuryev Festival and a special guest and award-winner at the Fourth National Nuryev Festival. Throughout his career he has performed many principal and character roles in a variety of ballets, including the title character in Romeo and Juliet, the Prince in Cinderella and Basil in Don Quixote. He is married to dancer Carrie West.
