Crystal Costa

Born in Vancouver , Canada . Crystal decided to be a professional dancer at the age of nine. She was The British Columbia International Ballet Champion in 1998 and two years later she graduated with honours from The National Ballet School of Canada. Crystal joined the Hong Kong Ballet in 2001 and was promoted to Senior Soloist in 2004 and Principal Dancer in 2005. She has been praised for her fine classical line and bravura performances. Crystal was awarded Performance of the Year in a Principal Role and Favorite Principal / Soloist at the Dancers’ Awards held by the Friends of Hong Kong Ballet.
