Carrie West

Born in California, Carrie West received her training with Sacramento Ballet as well as San Francisco Ballet School, the School of American Ballet and Houston Ballet Academy. Prior to joining BalletMet in 1998, she danced exclusively with Sacramento Ballet. Ms. West has performed principal roles for BalletMet in ballets such as Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Swan Lake, Don Quixote and Dracula, and she was a recipient of the 2004 Violetta Boft Memorial Award for Artistic Excellence. She is married to dancer Dmitri Suslov.
